F-WWOW

Courtesy Airliners.net, a peek at F-WWOW, the Airbus A380 that debuted on April 27, 2005.

Just like its call sign, I can only say.."WWOW" (sic).
I hope that Singapore Airlines experiences success with this aircraft, if only so Boeings domination of the big aircraft market will end. But only time will tell.

Only time will tell Ramesh. But when are the aircraft manufacturers come out with a new design. Its been over 60 years and we still have the same design.

Thats USD 13 billion right there. Unless they sell a lot of the 380's its all down the drain. The new mantra is smaller crafts with longer runs with fewer refuels. Airbus might have missed the boat here.

Personally, I really am not bothered with whether Boeing or Airbus break even with any of their models of aircraft.

On economics of scale, if putting more passengers into one aircraft means cheaper fares, then I am all for it.
