Sunrise or Sunset...

Posted by Picasa

A Beautiful Sunrise? or A Brilliant Sunset?

Sunrise over the Indian Ocean off the coast of Pondicherry? Sunset over the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego?

Who cares? As the Bard of Avon states - As you like it.

Gud one dude... As you said, it does not matter whether it's a sun set or a rise, what does matter is enjoying natuaral beauty in whichever form it is..

This again depends on how you take it.. A sun rise could mean, news hope, beginnings or could be begininng of left over troubles, new problems.

I go by first one and being optimistic doesnt cost a penny but the feeling is always great.

Thanks Vasanth.

You gave it an entirely unintended psychological spin. Just be sure to not compete with Dr. Freud! (LOL)

Hey man...
How ever did you become a packers fan? Well..come to think of it - most people who have recently migrated from nanganallur, thereabouts are instantly attracted to GB and I definitely do not think the reason is nearly as sexy as you had written up (because they are owned by the public..blah blah - Frankly most people wont even know that!)..I think the answer is simple - the packers are one team that figure in the most nationally televised games over the last 5+ yrs and these mindless commentators just make a big deal about how good favre is and how he overcame his demons the season ticket holders, and the lambeau leap, the home field advantage and their coach from the stone age yada yada yada...So there. Not that I have anything against the packers and I really like the concept of the city owning the team and all..but C'mon dude - they are the worst team in football today..I hope Favre comes back though - he prob can do with a better exit..

Anyway, you've got a good blog here..Wanna bet against the Pats this year? You are on!

Am trying to figure out who it is...
As for being a Packers fan..well, I dont know about others, but I am a fan for all the reasons I have outlined. And am not a fair-weather friend..I am a true-blue Packer. Worst team in the league or not..

As they say here in America, to each his/her own. If you can't see/accept those reasons on the face value...I feel sorry for you! Just don't pooh-pooh my reasons...

DCS, Thank you!

Hey I am with you man...To each his own. All I said was that the media has manipulated those "us" (Yes. Guilty as charged) to a large part in why we think what we think about the game and the teams. I know folks who came here in the 90s who swear by the Niners and the 'Boys..Coincidence? I dont think so. We all tend to like winners - quite natural - no need to brand it as "fair-weather friends"..If the packers were not featured as much on TV, I'd probably be thinking that Gilette Stadium is the NFL mecca, Bob Kraft is the model owner and the superbowl winner should be holding the Bill Belichick trophy...

Anyway, I am also slightly inclined to believe your ex-boss - that "there is nothing much else to do in northern Wisconsin anyway" especially as the reason for the sellouts...I ve lived around that lattitude (in a small city with a strong NFL team) for some time..the winter really gets to you..

Me? I am a coach kinda guy - I am too much of a nomad to pledge allegiance to a city..I follow my coaches and "their" teams. Gruden, Parcells, Cowher and of course - the winningest coach of this century - Belichick..

So what about that bet? You on?

I am sorry, I don't bet with "anonymous people".

Much as it would be highly entertaining to argue on this further, I am not inclined to continue.

Thanks, and God bless...
