Unlimited dimensions of space, unhindered explorations of the human mind, and everything in between. And, I am just a small piece of this awesome and mind-boggling whole. This is a quest to appreciate and understand the needle, and the proverbial haystack.
Fascinating language that English is, and given its continual evolution into a repository of words from every which language/dialect of the world, it is no surprise that we have ended up with a ton of words with weird spellings.
Courtesy MSN Encarta, comes a test for your spelling acumen.
Have fun!

I got 13/15, Wonderful. I thought the test will change If I went again. Looks like it doesn't.!
Good test. I screwed up on the "pronunciation" thing. Nice link.
Saranyan, maybe you are what they refer to as a walking dictionary :P
Narayanan, if it was an adaptable test, I am sure it would not be available for free.
Ranga, you are welcome. Vacuum and pronunciation are two words that I think I am bound to screw up at one time or the other...
I got screwed by wierd.. Weird seems to be an exception.. and sad that I wasnt wired with the dictionary..
Unless I am missing something here and leisurely did not bother to seize the moment to learn something new, why is weird an exception?
Bcoz Weird is a word.
